Recently, the German government announced that it will start the latest subsidy for the installation of photovoltaic solar batteries from March 1, 2016, which is tantamount to a “cardiotonic agent” for the development of the German photovoltaic and solar battery industry.
According to information provided by the German Federal Agency for Foreign Trade and Investment, by the end of 2018, 30 million euros will be subsidized to install solar batteries connected to photovoltaic equipment. This measure is to strengthen system maintenance and reduce the cost of solar battery technology. The subsidy is applicable to photovoltaic systems below 30KWp installed after December 2012.
“This investment subsidy has created a good environment for the development of the German solar battery investment market.” said a renewable energy expert from the German Federal Foreign Trade and Investment Agency: “The incentive mechanism and good development opportunities in the value chain. Especially spring is coming soon. This will be a very important time period for the photovoltaic and solar battery industry in Germany.”
